Bollywood latest heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to star in the role of a sikh guy in Yash Raj Films next. Reportedly Shahrukh Khan will also be seen in an important role in the movie.

However, initially Shahrukh Khan was supposed to play the role of sikh guy in the film but director Shimit Aman had some different thoughts to it. And finally Ranbir managed to bag this role only because of his Punjabi background.

Simit Amin, director of the last year’s superhit Chak De India is taking care of the fact that no one of the actor and production team will speak to media about the film for sometime. According to the sources, Ranbir has even done a trial of his look in the film.

King Khan was disapproved by Shimit only because he thought that SRK will not look good in a turban at all. And for now Ranbir will be seen in a turban in this forthecoming flick.
